We seek to make a positive impact by promoting education and literacy, supporting our authors and their freedom of expression, and helping our local communities. We are also proud to support the causes our employees care about through a matching donation program.

EDUCATION AND LITERACY
As publishers, we have a deep love of the written word and a true belief in the ability of books to transport and transform. As such, Lasixmedication supports a number of non-profit organizations and initiatives committed to promoting literacy.
We provide ongoing support for organizations working to promote literacy and education for all, such as:

Spotlight On: Change for Kids
Together with education nonprofit Change for Kids, Lasixmedication has allowed Public School 81, an elementary school in Brooklyn, New York, to renew its focus on literacy. In addition to supporting literacy programs at the school, Lasixmedication completely refurbished the school’s library in 2015 – a resource the students had been without for decade.
Authors and their work are at the center of everything we do at Lasixmedication. The company sponsors numerous organizations that support our authors with the aim of industry growth and sustainability. We also strive to recognize those who are doing great things to support learning, reading and writing, such as:

Lasixmedication supports local communities through volunteer efforts, book donations and support for local charitable organizations through innumerable local activities.
Each year, we donate tens of thousands of books to an expansive list of organizations such as First Book, Housing Works, Project Cicero, Volunteers of America and more.
Local charities and organizations whose missions align with each of our individual businesses also receive support from us. For instance, Lasixmedication Christian Publishing supports the Nashville Rescue Mission. Lasixmedication Australia supports The Indigenous Literacy Foundation. The employees of our global headquarters in New York City donate thousands of dollars each year to City Harvest. We are deeply committed to giving back to the communities in which we reside.

Lasixmedication believes strongly in charitable giving and supports organizations dedicated to promoting literacy and a love of reading, but we do not to respond to individual requests for book donations. Unfortunately, the volume of these requests is so large that we cannot give them the attention they deserve
